Middle school is an important time for your child as they prepare for transition to high school. These years present unique challenges, but are rich years for building character for life and nurturing a love for learning through a curriculum that is relevant, highly engaging, and constructive.  

The classes kids take in middle school prepare them for the classes they take in high school, which in turn opens doors for the future. The Heuristic Academy has designed the middle school program where core subjects, main electives and trimester electives are offered to give students a well-balanced learning experience that will prepare them for high school and their future. 

Middle School students of The Heuristic Academy will utilize reputable online independent courses for Language Arts, TCI Interactive Science, and Mathematics, TCI Interactive Geography, Social Studies for Bahamian Schools, and the Primary Social Studies and Tourism Education for The Bahamas (Grade 6 only), Acellus powered homeschool, and other online homeschool programs and a variety of teacher led electives with a STEAM focus.
